So, I added the lightning extenders recommended by Wildlife Acoustics to my website, as I knew that many people, including myself, had bought extenders from Amazon and found they didn't work with the Echo Meter Touch. One question I kept asking myself was: why don't any of the suppliers of the Echo Meter Touch also supply lightning extenders, which are essential if you want to use the Echo Meter Touch on an iOS device with a case on? It would've been a bit daunting for me as well, as I wasn't very familiar with Apple products and accessories up to a week or two ago. I know, because quite a few people have told me, that the prospect of searching the internet to find the 'best' iPad, protective case and lightning extender can be a bit daunting for some. I have one myself, which is currently out on loan to a client, and I'm very happy with how it works on my iPhone, though the larger screen of an iPad Mini would make it easier to use. It's arguably the most affordable and convenient hand-held bat recorder option on the market, especially if you already have a compatible Apple iOS device, such as an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. If you're interested in bats you've almost certainly heard a lot about the Echo Meter Touch.
